If the holes and threads were made before galvanizing, the layer of zinc would fill and block them, making the threads unusable. This would mean that after zinc coating, everything would have to be reprocessed, which:<\/p><ul role=\"list\"><li><p>would increase costs,<\/p><\/li><li><p>would slow down execution,<\/p><\/li><li><p>would create a risk of damaging the zinc protective layer.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>So the correct order is: galvanize the beams \u2192 then make the holes \u2192 do the precise threading.<\/p><h3>Result<\/h3><p>The customer received fully prepared HEB 120 beams with high-quality zinc coating and precise, functional threads \u2013 ready for assembly at the site in
